William “Bill” Correia, Sr., 81 of Manchester, formerly of Winter Springs and DeBary, FL, beloved husband of 62 years of Helen (Lucianno) Correia passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born on October 2, 1937 in Fall River, MA son of the late Joseph and Hermina Correia. Bill was raised in Fall River, attended local schools and was a graduate of Somerset High School High School Class of 1956. He was employed for over 32 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, retiring in 1990 as a General Foreman. Bill loved to read the news, educating himself with facts that he would share with those around him. He and Helen also laughed over the comics. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed building puzzles, figuring out functions on his smart phone and taking trips to the casino. More than anything, Bill loved his family. In addition to his wife Helen, Bill is survived by his son William Correia, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Ellington, his two daughters; Mary Beth Litrico and her husband Paul of Manchester and Patricia Ann Rivera and her husband Jose of Deltona FL, fourteen loving grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his sister Hermina Vannier of Florida and several nieces, nephews and good friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, David J. Correia. Calling hours will be held at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. in Manchester on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10 am. Burial will be private.
