William H. Bode, Jr. passed away after a short and valiant battle with cancer surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 16th, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1949 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Willis Bode. He is survived by his wife, Joan Bode of 49 years. They are retired Pastors of The Salvation Army.
During their years of marriage and shared ministry, Bill and Joan welcomed and nurtured four beautiful children, Christiane, Faith, William and James. Their dear children have blessed Majors Bode with sixteen precious grandchildren who are dearly loved and cherished.
Please continue to remember in prayer Major Bode’s beloved wife of forty-nine years, Major Joan Bode, their devoted children and grandchildren, Bill’s sisters, Dorothy (Samuel) Berdin, Linda (Charles) Rowe, and Carol (Edward) Burke, extended family and dear friends during this time of great sorrow.
