Sue M. Jones

Sue Fryc Jones, 93, died peacefully and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord, June 8, 2021. Born in Pstragowa, Poland, she was the daughter of Mary (Stanek) and Walter Fryc. She was seven years old when the family immigrated to the U.S. settling in Connecticut.  A 1946 graduate of Bulkeley High School, she stayed in the state living in Hartford, Vernon and settling in Manchester in 1968.   She is deeply missed by her children Gayle Jagoda and her husband Orlando of Leawood, KS; Patricia Davignon and her husband Ernest of Chicopee, MA; James Wyse and his wife Jaye of Ellington; Lawrence Wyse of Manchester; her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; her sister Jane Shaskan and her husband Ed of West Hartford, and her devoted cousin Jaga Nawrot of Manchester.  She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 29 years, James Jones, and her youngest son, Robert Wyse, whose birthday being the same date as her passing.

A Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, 736 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT, on June 24, 2021, at 11:00 am.  Following the service, inurnment of her and Robert’s ashes will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
