Obituary
Richmond William Morrison, 93, beloved husband of Susan Todd Morrison since 1953 of Manchester passed away peacefully on March 29, 2023. He was born January 12, 1930 in Manchester to the late William and Marjorie Morrison.
Richmond retired from the State of Connecticut in 1989. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of the South United Methodist Church as well as the Masons, the Shriners and the Manchester Jaycees.
He and Susan enjoyed spending winters in Florida at their home in Jensen Beach. He enjoyed surf fishing, boating, golfing, travelling and fine dining.
He was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Susan Todd and their four children; Wendy Perigard, Kimberly Allen (Richard), Scott Morrison (Kathleen) and Polly Evens (Robert). In addition, he leaves 9 grandchildren, Lauren, Elise, Evan, Timothy, Jillian, Ryan, Megan, Andrew and Amanda. He also leaves 5 great grandchildren.
Calling Hours will be held at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home located at 400 Main Street, Manchester CT 06040 on Wednesday, April 5th from 10:30am till 11:30am. Burial will follow at East Cemetery in Manchester CT located at 220 East Center Street.
