Peter Ratti

Peter Ratti, 94, husband of Christine, since May 14, 1948, of Hebron, passed away July 18, 2022 at home after a brief illness surrounded by his family. He was born in Italy, to the late John Ratti and Theresa Ratti. He moved to Hebron in the early 40’s. He enjoyed camping and spent most of his time gardening. He is mostly remembered for his generosity. He met his wife Christine Chenny Brothers in 1948 and married on May 14. He went on to work at Aldon Spinning Mill and AMF then retired in 1998. He leave behind his wife Christine of 74 years, his two sons Bruce Ratti and his children Bruce Peter Ratti Jr and his spouse Katarzyna along with his children Lexi Rose and Nathan; and Darcy Ratti and her partner Molly, Don Ratti and his wife Deborah of Stafford with their children Josh, Justin (Corinna) of Tolland and their two children Logan and Damon. Theresa Ratti and M. David Davis of Hattiesburg MS; Patsy (Ratti) and Earl Lange of Southport NC; Mary Ratti and Linwood Clark of Oak Island NC; Michelle (Mike) and Pam (Roberts) Ratti Jr of Wakinsville GA, their children Jennifer )Ratti) and Shane Martin (parents of Brayden, Jackson and Caleb), Heather (Ratti) and Manuel (Manny) Diaz (parents of soon-to-be baby Diaz); Cora (Ratti) and Zane Roberts and Destin FL, their children Zane Michael, Rachel (Roberts) and Chris Wheeler (parents of Bodhi); Margaret (Ratti) and Robert Houlihan of Woodstock CT, their children Katelyn, Megan, Patrick and Tessa. John (Ratti) McKenna of Trout Run PA, his children Alex, Randi, Karleigh, Tori, Talon and Summer; and especially loved by Christine Ratti and Bill Potter of Red House VA. He is predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Michelle (Mike) and Annie V (Turner) Ratti Sr. of Hebron, CT; Pete was a loving Uncle to the children of Mike and Annie V. Calling Hours will be held at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home located at 400 Main Street, Manchester CT 06040 on Friday, July 29th from 4pm till 6pm.
