Nicholas D. Convertino, 73 of South Windsor, beloved husband of Linda (Genovese) Convertino, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 10, 2021. Nicholas was born in New York on March 21, 1948, son of the late Nicholas and Marie Convertino. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, his daughter Michelle Powell and her husband Jim Powell of Manchester, his son Nicholas J. Convertino of Windsor Locks and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Savannah Powell are also greatly mourning his loss. Nicholas has many other friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Nicholas graduated from the University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He successfully ran his business, Manchester Wallpaper and Paint for thirty years. He loved the New York Giants and could even be described as their number one fan. He loved his family more than anything else in the world and enjoyed spending time with them above anything else. The family would like to thank Donna, his hospice nurse and the visiting nurses from Vernon for their outstanding care and compassion.
