Kenneth Trudeau Obituary

Kenneth Edward Trudeau Sr., of Manchester, CT passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 67 with his family by his side.

Ken was born in Manchester on October 4, 1953 to the late Irene (Wolfram) and Lawrence Trudeau Sr. He graduated from Cheney Technical High School in 1971 and began working as a Machinist at Pratt & Whitney. From there he went on to work at Carlyle Johnson Machine Co. for 35 years. On March 8, 1980 he married his beloved wife, Jeannie (Smith). Together they had four beautiful children.

Ken was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved being with family. Spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren made him very happy. Ken enjoyed deep sea fishing charters, working on his truck and watching his sons take it four wheeling or driving it in the truck pulls at local fairs for fun. He loved to tell stories about drag racing his 1970 Chevelle SS.  He enjoyed many gatherings with his siblings and their families as well as many parties with his in-laws, the Smith’s. On occasion, Ken and Jeannie loved to sneak away together and try their luck at the Casino.

Ken is survived by his Wife, Jeannie Trudeau (Smith); their four Children, Son Kenneth Trudeau Jr. and Wife Stephani of Manchester, Daughter Kathryn Trudeau of Manchester, Daughter Amanda (Trudeau) and Husband Jared Bartlett of Enfield, Son Andrew Trudeau and Wife Kimberly of Hebron; his Grandchildren, Kendall Trudeau, Benjamin and Mackenzie Bartlett, Rosalie and Magnolia Trudeau; his Step-Grandchildren, Isaiah and Johnathan Bartlett; his Siblings, Lawrence Trudeau Jr. and Wife Susan of Chelmsford, MA, Beverly (Trudeau) and Husband Ted Goheen of New Bethlehem, PA; Donna (Trudeau) and Husband Ted Wrubel of Mansfield, CT; along with many nieces and nephews.
