Joycelin Millet 77, of Manchester, CT died peacefully, Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital with her three children by her side. Joycelin was born January 1, 1944, in Trinidad, West Indies, beloved daughter of the late Lita Jane Millet and Lawrence Millet, she came to the United States in 1980 and resided in the Manchester area for forty-one years. Joycelin was a member of the Church of the Living God in Manchester. She worked for Pillowtex for seven years when she first immigrated to the United States, then worked for Crestfield Rehabilitation Center in Vernon, CT for over 20 years before retiring in 2014. Joycelin, known as ‘Joyce’ is survived by her three children, Anna Witter of Manchester, CT, Yolande Dalrymple of East Hartford, CT, and Allison Dalrymple-Mason of Manchester, CT. Her siblings Carlton Millet of Hartford, CT, Norva Millet of Hartford, CT, Joan George of Trinidad, West Indies, and Roselyn Mitchel of Bloomfield, CT. Joyce also leaves her grandchildren, Mellissa Williams, Odessa Williams, Leon Thompson, DJ Thompson and 12 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves her dearest close friends and neighbor Marva Smith, Nancy Santiago, Dan and Alice Evans, and her loving pet Romo. A calling hour will be held at the Manchester Church of Christ, 595 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester, CT on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, service to follow, with burial in the East Cemetery. A Repass will be held after the burial at 664 Bush Hill Road, Manchester, CT 06040.
