John J. Mazurek Jr., 73 of Manchester, CT died on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Son of the late John J. And Veronica M. (Sarna) Mazurek.
John served honorably in the U.S. Army for two years during the Vietnam War. After returning home he went to work at Profession Flooring in Wethersfield and worked there for thirty years as a commercial floor estimator. A lover of Polka and Doo Wop music he also watched his favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and PGA Golf. A true car enthusiast John would often visit car shows, and flea markets, but was also known to stop at tag sales.
John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Mazurek and their children, Tanja Knofla of Bridgton Maine, Dorothy Moffitt of Windham Connecticut, and Todd DiFronzo of Las Vegas; Grandchildren Ian Knofla, John Mazurek Magro, Emily Sala and Matthew DiFronzo. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son John J. Mazurek III.
