Gordon Alan Fish, 72, of Ellington, CT passed away February 3rd, 2021 of complications from Covid-19. He was the son of William Edwin and Dorothy (Turkington) Fish.
Gordon was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran with two Purple Hearts and several other medals including The Air Medal and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He served eight and a half years with The United States Army.
While on R&R in Australia, he met Lynn Nicholson. He knew she was his soul mate after just two hours and they were married two weeks later. They shared 52 years together and were blessed with three daughters.
Gordon was an avid bowler, golfer, and pilot and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Vernon. He was a real estate broker for over 40 years working side-by-side with his brother Don and his extended work family at D.W. Fish Real Estate. He loved spending time with his family and simple mornings having coffee on the deck with his wife.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father William and is survived by his mother Dorothy; wife Lynn; daughters Catherine Fish and her fiancé Raymond Guimond, Karen Fish Saxton, Patricia O’Sullivan and her husband Timothy; son-in-law Jeffrey Saxton; four grandchildren; Luke, Alexandra, Riley, and Taylor. He also leaves his brothers Richard, Donald, Doug, Randall, Russell and their families.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at The Church of the Nazarene, 218 Main St., Manchester, CT 06042, the family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior from 6-7PM. Anyone unable to attend is invited to watch a livestream of the funeral from his memorial page.
