Eleanor M. Bolduc

Eleanor M. (Piercy) Bolduc, 87 of Vernon, CT passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021 at her daughter’s home.  She resided in Manchester for most of her life before moving to Vernon in 1990. Eleanor graduated from Manchester High School in 1952 went to work at Pratt & Whitney, and The Hartford Courant. She married Florian Bolduc in 1956 and they celebrated 55 years together before Flo’s death in 2011.

Eleanor was a homemaker and she enjoyed spending time in her gardens and watching the UCONN girls basketball team as well as her Red Sox.

She loved her family very much and loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her yearly luncheons with all of her sisters.

Eleanor is survived by her three daughters Gerry Jackson and her husband Jim, Karen Bolduc and Graham Kelly, Carol Carsky and Brad Cordtsen; her loving grandchildren Brian Silkowski and his wife Sherry, Randy DeCiantis and his wife Laurie, Rene DeCiantis, Jessica Coombes, Kimberly Chmelowski and her husband Michael, and Christopher Carsky and his fiancée Megan Jones; five great grandchildren she was blessed with, Anthony, Gabriella, Keira, Camila, Antonio; sisters Mildred, Leone and Barbara. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends especially her nephew Michael Piercy and her niece Cheryl Perry who were very dear to her.

Along with her parents Harold and Martha (Clark) Piercy, Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Florain Bolduc; sisters Patty, Peggy, Janet and Alice 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00pm at East Cemetery, Manchester, CT. Services will be live-streamed from the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home website for those whom can not attend. 

A celebration of her life will take place in the Spring, date and time to be announced.

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimers association, www.alz.org.
