Charles J. Fuller, 79, of Manchester, CT, husband of the late Sybella (Larkin) Fuller passed away May 12, 2021, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Charles was born in Middletown, CT July 31, 1941, son of the late Clifford and Irene (White) Fuller and resided in Manchester since 1969. Prior to retiring he worked as a machinist for Empire Tool Co. in Manchester for more than 20 years. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post 102 and the 2004 passed commander for the sons of the American Legion also a member of Manchester Elks Lodge 1893 he was a retired officer with the 8th district fire police and dedicated many years of service to the Fire Department with the support from his loving wife during his years with the 8th district Fire Police he was presented the Frank “PA” Mordavsky award, the John J. Merz Award M.F.D. Engine Co. 2 Fireman’s Fireman 2007 and the M.F.D. 8th District Chief’s Recognition Award for Outstanding Effort in 2007. Charles is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by a sister and a brother. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from 9:00 am to 10 am at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, a Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 am with burial in the East Cemetery to follow.
