Barbara (Barb, Bobbie) Ambrose Skoog, 75, departed this earthly life as a Christmas Angel on December 26, 2021. Born February 18, 1946, to the late Anne Zelenakas and John Ambrose. Barbara was a rate maker to the Eighth Utilities District in the town of Manchester for many years. A very talented basket weaver, she founded Baskets by Barbara. Known to her family as beloved “Gamma” she was always there with a warm hug, fresh hot meal, and her loving words of wisdom. She always encouraged gatherings and loved having her family around her creating treasured memories for years to come. Her heart and her arms were always open for anyone who needed her, and she was always there with a great big smile and wave. Barb is predeceased by her parents, her sister Shirley Ambrose Morton and her brother Jackie Ambrose. She leaves behind her true love and husband of 58 years, Clifford Skoog, Jr. whose love, patience and care provided the family’s strength and love. Barb also leaves her three children and their spouses: Teri and Tom Stratton, Carl and Patricia Skoog and Mark and Terri Skoog. Grandchildren Matthew, Christopher, Alex and Carolyn Stratton. Tory, Haylee, Jacob and Emma Skoog. A great grandson Maxwell Stratton. She also leaves her sister Pat Blodgett and many friends and relatives.
