Anthony J. Wieliczka departed this Life peacefully on April 13, 2024 at the age of 96. He was born on February 10, 1928 to George and Helen Wieliczka.
He was the last sibling of four brothers and three sisters who we are sure met him at the gate of Heaven. He also leaves behind three children. Gary Wieliczka and his wife Karen of Wisconsin, David Wieliczka and his wife Tracie of Vernon and his daughter Lisa Pressamarita and her husband Michael of South Windsor. Also, four Grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren.
Anthony was also a WWII Veteran serving with the United States Army. He always wanted to talk about his war days with anyone who would listen. It was like yesterday to him that he served this country which he loved. He also was an active member of the Army and Navy Club in Manchester spending many days playing cards or just hanging out with old friends.
Family and Friends may join us on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester as we will gather in the parking lot prior to the procession to East Cemetery, please arrive by 10:30 a.m. There will be no viewing hours. There will be a Graveside Service with full Military Honors for our Dad on Thursday, April 18th at 11a.m.
