Anna Swatik Robillard, 77, of East Hartford died Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Stafford, the daughter of Joseph Swatik and Helen (Melinoski) Swatik. She was the wife of Gerard A. Robillard.
Anna worked for Travelers Insurance and retired from Met Life. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors. For many years she was an avid bicyclist and enjoyed mountain biking with her husband. Favorite spots included Case Mountain, Gay City and Mansfield Hollow. She also was a serious road rider and kayaker.
After retiring, she enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends and lovingly caring for her orchids. She also had a talent for quilting and sewing.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild as well as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband, Gerard A. Robillard, she leaves three sons, James Campbell Jr., Joseph Campbell and Mark Robillard; one grandson, William Campbell; three granddaughters, Amanda Campbell, Sophia Robillard and Camille Robillard; and siblings, Josie, Irene, Joe, Mary and Mike. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings Julia, Andy and Bob.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41 Park Street, Manchester, CT 06040, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, a Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Hillstown Road Veterans Cemetery, Hillstown Road, Manchester.
