Yvette Therese Morin

Yvette Therese (LeBlanc) Morin, 87, formerly of Ellington and Manchester, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Morin passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Woodlake at Tolland. Yvette was born March 19, 1928 in Magog, Quebec Canada, daughter of the late Philip and Orise (Larose) LeBlanc. She resided in Manchester for 40 years, moving to Sebring, FL from 1992 to 2005 and returned to Connecticut in 2005 to live in Ellington. She was a former parishioner of St. James Church Manchester. Yvette loved to sew, crochet, knit and quilt. Her handwork and quilts were artwork admired and loved by all. Yvette is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Louise Tedesco and her husband, James of East Norwich LI NY, and Micheline Nollez of Ellington, two sons, Ronald P. Morin and his wife, Maureen of Bolton and John R. Morin and his wife, Sally Ann of Vernon, a brother, Louis P. LeBlanc and his wife, Lucille of Clinton, MA and a sister, Lucillie Corriveau of Omerville, Quebec, nine grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. St. James Church 896 Main Street Manchester. Burial will follow with inurnment in St. James Cemetery Manchester. Family and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Monday, March 30, from 5-7 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main Street Manchester.
