Wilma Lee (Warner) Ryan, 87, of Wakefield, RI, formerly of Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles W. Ryan.
She was born in Cairo, IL and was the daughter of the late James H. and Ida (Workman) Warner. In her youth, Wilma performed throughout the country with the Dorothy Dorben Dancers. She enjoyed and cherished the time she spent with family and friends.
She is survived by three children, William P. Ryan of New York, NY, Peggy Ryan of Broad Brook, CT and Julie A. Casey and her husband Brian of Narragansett, RI; a grandson, Warner Casey of Narragansett, and two step-grandchildren, Megan Casey of Long Beach, NY, and Christian Casey of East Greenwich, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 13, at 10:30 AM at St. Bridget Church, 70 Main Street, Manchester with burial to follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. A visiting hour will be Tuesday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester.
