William T. Proctor

William T. Proctor, 85, of East Hartford and formerly of Manchester, beloved son of the late George & Margaret (Sargent) Proctor, died Sunday March 13, 2016 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford. William was born February 10, 1931 in Manchester, he attended local schools and was a Graduate of Manchester High School. He had worked for Pioneer Parachute for many years before his retirement and has been a lifelong member of the Salvation Army Citadel in Manchester. William is survived by many relatives in both the United States and Northern Ireland. He was predeceased by his brother John "Jack" Proctor. Funeral services will be held at graveside Thursday March 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Westminster section of the East Cemetery in Manchester with Maj. Asit S. George officiating. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund, 661 Main St., Manchester, CT. 06040. The Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester has care of arrangements.
