Vivian E. Ladabouche

Vivian Elizabeth (Farr) Ladabouche, 93, of Manchester beloved wife of the late Bernard E. Ladabouche passed away peacefully Friday, October 7, 2016. Vivian was born in Middletown, NY on February 26, 1923, daughter of the late Alonzo and M. Ann Terwilliger Farr. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cooper College, Middletown, NY and continued her education at the University of Hartford. She had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. Vivian retired in 1989 as office manager from the State of Connecticut Dept of Labor in Manchester after 29 years of service.
She was a member of Manchester Rotary, garnering two prestigious Paul Harris Awards, a Board Member of MARC, and a member of Hartford area Women's Business and Professional Club.
Vivian is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Barbara A. Ladabouche and partner Maggie Frampton of Montpelier, VT, three sons, David T. Ladabouche and spouse Eric Metzger of Coventry, Gary A. Ladabouche and wife Vicki of Manchester, Craig Ladabouche and wife Darlene of Vernon, VT; four grandchildren, Jessica Caruso and husband, Christopher of West Springfield, MA, Kevin Ladabouche and wife Rebecca of Hebron, Jamie Ladabouche and Lindsay Ladabouche both of Manchester, three sisters-in-law, Rachel Godlewski of Rockville, Joan Skolfield of Windsor, Jane Zieger of Willington and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation hours for family and friends will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4-7:30 pm at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester, with a funeral service to follow immediately at 7:30 pm. A graveside inurnment service will be held Friday, October 14, at 11 am in Section, Westminster K-2 in East Cemetery, 240 East Center Street Manchester. For a direct location to the grave upon arrival, please use the Autumn Street entrance of East Cemetery .
