Vivian E. (Stoehr) Hanna, 89, of Coventry, formerly of Bolton, beloved wife of the late Clarence Edward "Sandy" Hanna passed away with her family at her side on Friday, December 26, 2014. Mrs. Hanna was born February 3, 1925 in Manchester. She was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1941. Mrs. Hanna was a veteran of WW II serving as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Travelers Insurance Company for over 10 years. Mrs. Hanna was a former member of North United Methodist Church in Manchester. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing the piano, taking art classes and traveling. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and James Mindek of Coventry and her three loving grandchildren; Joshua Paul Mindek, Sara Mae
Mindek and Hannah Marie Mindek. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St. Manchester from 10-11 am with a prayer service at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
