Virginia Irene Burby

Virginia "Ginny" Burby, 77, of Manchester, CT, loving sister, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 10, 2020. Born in Derby, CT on September 8, 1942 she was formerly a long time resident of East Hartford with her sister Dee. She loved going to the beach in Old Lyme with her children for family vacations. She enjoyed lemon ice with her children. She loved to garden and play with all 8 of her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved sister Dee Katan of East Hartford, CT; her daughters, Lisa Burby of East Hartford, CT and Wendy Nelson and her husband Stan of New Hampshire. Ginny is survived by 8 grandchildren; Brooke Pitcher of FL, Victoria Kaminsky of Prospect, CT, Jacob and Kaleb Desilets of Tolland, CT, Samantha, Stan, and Elizabeth Nelson of New Hampshire, and her nephew Tom Rudne of Ansonia, CT. Ginny will be greatly missed by her family. Ginny loved Jesus and now is with him in heaven. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
