Vincent Andrew Pavelack, of Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024, at the age of 74.Vinnie's journey was marked by love and dedication, especially to his beloved wife of nearly 52 years, Carol (Howard) Pavelack, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and joy. To his daughters, Jennifer Motta and Angela Pavelack, son, Vincent J Pavelack, and his grandchildren, Anthony, Olivia, Joseph, Shyanna, Kayleb, and Dominic, he was a source of endless support and a role model of kindness.
He was always their biggest fan, for every sport, activity, or achievement they had. He would never miss an opportunity to talk about his children and grandchildren and would tell anyone who would listen how proud he was of all of them. Vincent was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (DiFazio) Pavelack of Manchester. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester and graduated from MHS in 1969.
He was known affectionately as "The Mayor" due to his extensive network of friends and acquaintances throughout the town. He was a talker, a man who never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Vinnie could connect with everyone, and his warm and welcoming nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He had a passion for music, loved singing and dancing around the house, adored his many dogs over the years, enjoyed watching the Red Sox, and cherished the simple things in life.
He was a loving husband, father, papa, and friend who always made time for his family, and never failed to bring laughter with his silly antics. He was always ready to engage in grape-eating contests or teach his grandkids how to ride bikes. His laughter and stories filled the Pavelack household, turning simple moments into cherished memories. The world was simply a better place with him in it.
