Tracy A. Sapere (Lombardo), 52, of Tolland, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her lovely home surrounded by her adoring family on May 31, 2025. We will sorely miss her beautiful smile and vibrant personality. Tracy is survived by her husband Emil and their three children, Colby Robert Emil, Chase Lombardo and Ava Louise. In addition to her husband Emil, and children, she leaves behind her mother, Dianne Lombardo (and the late Robert Lombardo) of Manchester, CT, her brother, Todd Lombardo of Moultonborough, NH, Mary Sapere (and the late Emil Sapere Jr.) of Niantic, CT, Michael and Kristina Kearney and their daughter Brianna of Portsmouth, RI, and many friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Tracy wanted and enjoyed the job of the family’s “schedule organizer” making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at the appointed time. As the children grew, she arranged play dates, was room-mother for all three children, and was actively involved in various school and sporting events her children participated in. She was so very proud of her children’s academic accomplishments as well as their development as kind and caring individuals. They will forever be grateful for her guidance and many life lessons. Tracy was an avid soccer fan and was an enthusiastic viewer of the FIFA World Cup. She also was a Boston Bruin’s fan and watched the televised games with Emil. Tracy began skiing at a young age and wanted her family to join her in the sport she loved. They purchased a home in Vermont and during Covid the family would head there to ski. The routine would be that the kids would do their schoolwork virtually and when completed they would head to the slopes skiing downhill together enjoying the sport she loved. Summers were spent at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Tracy was the originator of Friday Float Day at the lake. Friends and family would bring their floats, and they would all be tied together in a haphazard circle and everyone would spend the afternoon bobbing and chitchatting while floating on the water. With two children in college and another in high school, Tracy began a new career working virtually for AON. Tracy enjoyed the work and with her lively and enthusiastic personality she made new friends amongst her colleagues.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Hartford HealthCare Home Services for their kind and compassionate care. There will be no calling hours. A Service will be held for Tracy Wednesday, June 11th, at 9:30 a.m., at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main Street, Manchester, CT.
