Thomas John 'T.J.' Panciera Jr

T.J. Panciera Jr., 39, of Manchester, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Manchester. He was born on August 6, 1976 in Manchester son of Thomas J. Panciera Sr. of Tolland and the late Donna (Randall) Panciera. He was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and had been a lifelong resident. T.J. was a former member of Boy Scout Troop 25 at Center Congregational Church. He was employed as a carpet installer for Bachand Floor Coverings for over 16 years. T.J. enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin on Lac Megantic in Canada. He was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed cooking for friends and family, and especially loved camping with his daughters. In addition to his father, he is survived by his two daughters; Kaitlin Marie Panciera and Alison Marie Panciera, two sisters; Rhonda Bartone and her husband, Anthony of Tolland and Judythe Panciera and her fianc, Steven Luzzi of Manchester, and two nieces; Heather Bartone of Manchester and Samantha Bartone of Tolland. T.J. also leaves his aunts; Sharon Madore of Manchester, Linda Rec of Manchester and Marcie Greene of Massachusetts and all their families and the mother of his children, Christine Tanasi of Stafford Springs and her mother Marie Tanasi of Manchester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm. Burial is private.
