Thelma Elizabeth Spak

The lord called Thelma (Hodge) Spak, 97, of Manchester, CT home with him on Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Alexander Spak, and her son Allan Spak. Thelma was born in Gilead, CT and lived in Manchester for the past 67 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put everyone ahead of herself. She was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors with her bird friends. Her sense of humor and outgoing personality will be missed by family and friends. Thelma is survived by her son, Stephen Spak and daughter, Phyllis Spak, both of Manchester, 6 grandchildren, Allan Spak Jr., Sarah Oquendo, Amanda Savicki, and Joseph, David, and Christopher Spak, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She also leaves her sister Marian Gordon and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Second Congregational Church, 385 N.
