Teresa Lynn (Stopp) Philson, 34, of Stratford, wife of Jeffery Philson and mother to one year old, James Timothy Philson, was taken from us suddenly on Thursday morning, August 21, 2014. She was born on December 3, 1979 in Marion, IN beloved daughter of Timothy and Sheila (Madewell) Stopp of Vernon. She was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1998. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she loved all types of animals. A mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, niece and friend, she was deeply loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her. In addition to her husband, son, and parents Teresa is survived by her brother, Steven Stopp and his wife, Jessica and their children, Mackenzie and Kylie all of Coventry, her paternal grandfather, Carl Stopp of Brookville, FL, her mother-in-law, Patricia Philson of Wallingford, her two sisters-in-law, Susan Pearson and her husband, Chuck and their children, Annika, Blake and Elena all of Northford and Christina LaChance and her husband, Matthew of Orlando, FL as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for the benefit of her son James to be opened in the near future.
