Susan G. Sivo

Susan G. Sivo, 70, of Manchester, wife of the late Richard Giguere, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1948 in Hartford, to the late Joseph and Blanche (Pelletier) Sivo.

Susan grew up in the Hartford area and graduated from South Catholic High School in 1966. She moved to Manchester in 1973 and worked as an Associate Vice President, managing the commercial loan servicing department at the Savings Bank of Manchester for many years. She was an avid organizer who relished an array of creative pursuits including crocheting, home decorating, and gardening. She loved feeding the birds and watching the wildlife pass by her. Her pets were very dear to her, especially her most recent Keeshond, Lilly, who will miss her very much. Her sense of humor, love and thoughtfulness will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Her generosity to others will never be forgotten.

Susan is survived by her two daughters, Stacy Giguere and her husband Len Dupille and Lori Giguere; her two grandchildren Alec Giguere-Sweet and Trent Sweet; her brother Joseph Sivo as well as her nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Susan was predeceased by her sister Debbie.

A time of visitation for Susan will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, from 10-11 AM at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, with a service to follow beginning 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester. Memorial donations in Susan's name may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111.
