Susan Todd Morrison

Susan Todd Morrison, 94, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024. She was born April 27, 1930 in Manchester to the late Albert and Doris Todd and was predeceased by her husband and high school sweetheart of 70 years Richmond William Morrison (Rick).Susan started her career with the Travelers Insurance Company, worked at the Savings Bank of Manchester and eventually retired from the State of Connecticut Comptroller's office in 1989 as a Business Service Officer. She was a member of the South United Methodist Church.
After retirement Susan and Rick enjoyed spending winters in Florida at their home in Jensen Beach and summers in Manchester. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed traveling the world, taking cruises, playing golf and dining out, especially those early bird lobster specials.

She was devoted to her family. She is survived by her four children; Wendy Perigard, Kimberly Allen (Richard), Scott Morrison (Kathleen) and Polly Evens (Robert). In addition, she leaves 9 grandchildren, Lauren, Elise, Evan, Timothy, Jillian, Ryan, Megan, Andrew and Amanda. She also leaves 5 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester CT. Burial at East Cemetery will be immediately thereafter. To leave an online condolence please visit www.holmeswatkins.com
