Stephen Lawrance Osoldrietch

Stephen Lawrance Osoldrietch, 57, of East Hartford, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Stephen was born on December 18, 1961, in Bristol, CT, to Stanley V. and Lucille (Penn) Osoldrietch. Stephen worked as a produce clerk for many years at Shop Rite in Manchester. He was such a kind-hearted, gentle giant. His love for cooking, especially his pizza and lasagna recipes, will be missed by his family and friends. In his spare time, he loved to sit down, relax and enjoy a good book. During the summer months, Stephen could be found cheering on his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox and he thoroughly enjoyed their winning season as 2018 World Series Champions. Stephen is survived by his mother, Lucille, and his sister, Mary Osoldrietch, both of Manchester; his cousins Bruce, Brian, Gregory, Darlene, Penn, Gary, Susan, and Danis. He also leaves behind his good friends Billy and Michael as well as many other relatives and friends. Stephen was predeceased by his father, Stanley, his grandparents, Lawrance & Eva Penn, his Uncle James, Aunt Clara and Aunt Theresa and cousin Kevin. Funeral services for Stephen will be held at a later date to be announced by his family. Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, Manchester, is in care of his arrangements. Memorial donations in Stephens name may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
