Stephen A. Mckenzie

Stephen A. McKenzie passed away at home unexpectedly on December 1, 2022 at the age of 69. May he find eternal peace and happiness in God's hands. Born in Maine to the late George and Velma McKenzie, Steve grew up on Delmont street in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School in 1971.

He joined the navy after high school and served on the USS Newport News. He was then hired at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft where he worked for 42 years, retiring in 2016.

Steve was a generous man with an awesome sense of humor. Most importantly, he will be remembered as a hard working and devoted family man.

He was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Christine (Misovich) McKenzie, parents George and Velma McKenzie, and brother Daniel McKenzie and wife Maureen.

He is survived by his son Keith McKenzie and wife Jacquelyn of Andover, their sons Gavin and Mason, daughter Kimberly Clifford and her husband John of Manchester, and their children Alex, Johnny and Lexi. His brother Rodney McKenzie and his wife Peggy of East Hampton, their daughter Hillary LaMalfa and husband John of Portland, their children McKenzie and Sam.

Steve was much loved by everyone....we are blessed for all the memories we shared with him, he will be truly missed.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 8 from 4 to 7 pm at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 9 at 10:00 am at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Cemetery, 220 E. Center St, Manchester.
