Stephen A. Beebe, 72, of Manchester, CT passed away suddenly in his hometown of Manchester Saturday, July 5, 2025.
He was born on April 9, 1953 to Kenneth and Alice Beebe in Manchester, CT. Stephen attended Manchester Highschool graduating in 1971 and then began his career with Pratt & Whitney. He married his wife Jo Ann (Kanehl) Beebe October 2, 1976 and had two daughters. Stephen is survived by his daughter Lisa Hearne and husband David Hearne and grandsons Levi and Sawyer Hearne in Roanoke, VA, daughter Sarah Beebe and husband John Eric Vermilya in Riviera Beach, FL, sister Cheryl Incandella in Coventry, CT, nephew Frank Marandino and wife Liza in Coventry, CT, nephew Bruce Marandino and wife Jennifer in Charlestown, NH, nephew Brad Marandino and wife Nicole Young in Coventry, CT, nephew Jeffrey Incandella and wife Judi in Coventry, CT, niece Kimberly Allen and husband Phil in Northwood, NH, niece Kelly Shepard of Vernon, CT, and eight great nephews, nine great nieces, five great great nephews, and four great great nieces. He is predeceased by his wife Jo Ann Beebe and sister Judy Cook.
Stephen had a lifelong passion for classic rock music and playing his guitar, he was especially talented with his ability to quickly learn how to play songs after only briefly listening to them. Stephen worked at Pratt & Whitney in CT before relocating to Jupiter, FL in 1984. While residing in Jupiter, FL, he was an avid golfer, enjoyed bass fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and began his love of NASCAR. After their daughters graduated high school and began their college careers, Stephen and his wife Jo Ann relocated back to their hometown of Manchester, CT in 1999. After Jo Ann’s passing, Stephen rescued his second English Springer Spaniel, Sadie Mae, whom he truly adored.
Stephen will be dearly missed by family, neighbors, and his good friends. Services will be held at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home in Manchester, CT on Sunday, July 13 from 1 – 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New England Springer Spaniel Rescue
