Shirley A. Preneta

Shirley A. Preneta, 66, of Manchester, loving sister, aunt and friend died on Monday, October 19, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born April 2, 1949 in Manchester daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Radzavich) Preneta. Shirley was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and had been a lifelong resident. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, talking and tweeting with her friends and spending time with her pets; Piper, Gypsy and Zoie. Shirley is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Gerry and John Tracy, her two nieces; Kimberly (Tracy) Tedford and her husband, Brian and their son Kyle Tedford and Tammy (Tracy) Castonguay and her husband, George, her nephew, John J. Tracy Sr. and his son John J. Tracy Jr. Shirley also leaves her beloved friend and neighbor Cari Cieri and friends; Tina Cutno, Shirley Benoit and Norma Hargrave. The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Kelly and the ICU staff at Manchester Memorial Hospital. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. James Cemetery, 360 Broad St. Manchester.
