Sheryle Ballerini

February 6, 1968 — August 6, 2019

Sheryle (West) Ballerini, 51, of Ellington, formerly of Tolland and Vernon, daughter of Earl West of Leesburg, FL and the late Mary (Ballerini) West passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 6, 1968 in Rockville. Sheryle was raised in Tolland, attended local schools and was a graduate of Tolland High School, Class of 1986. Prior to leaving work in 2017 due to her health, she was employed as a Claims Processor for Cigna for over 20 years. Sheryle loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She loved her great nieces and nephews dearly as that is what she loved most about seeing her precious family grow. Those who knew her will remember her most by her very outgoing personality and out spoken ways. She loved being at the beach and reading her books and if you combined the both of those, she was truly in heaven. She will be remembered by those whom loved her most with her wild ways. With those memories will also be remembered with her most caring heart. When Sheryle entered a room, you knew it. She had a vibrant way of making any time a good time. The way she could light up a room was like no-other just by simply being who she was. Most importantly she will be remembered by her will to fight. From the very start she was a strong willed individual and that shined most bright when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Doctors and family alike saw that will and the battle she gave back to this wicked disease, they were amazed. She was a miracle to all who saw that first hand and that memory will live on forever. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by all of those who loved her, as she wanted from the very start. This is not a mourning of death, more so as it will be a celebration of life. In loving memory of Sheryle Ballerini. In addition to her father, Sheryle leaves her loving and devoted son Tyler Willis of Ellington, her sister and brother-in-law Charlene and Guy Manseau of Mooresville, NC, her two brothers and sisters-in-law; Wayne and Lynn West of Manchester and Michael and Pauline West of Pomfret, her beloved nieces and nephews and her former husband; Daniel Willis and his wife Brenda of Tolland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Connecticut, 74 Batteron Park Road, Farmington, CT 06032.
