Sherwood Clyde

Sherwood Clyde of Manchester, husband of the late Michele Poulin Clyde, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Brookdale in South Windsor. He was 85 years old. Orphaned as a child, Sherwood went to live in Bolton with his Aunt & Uncle in 1945 and remained there until he married Michele Poulin in 2000. Sherwood was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving the U.S. Army. His career was working for The Town of Manchester until he retired. He is survived by his late wife's five children, Mark J. Poulin of Phoenix, AZ, Valerie M. Welts and her husband Dana of Becket, MA, Joanne P. Grant and her husband Ralph of Mount Pleasant, SC, Jeffrey J. Poulin of Colchester and Randolph M. Poulin and his wife Sherri of Tolland. Calling Hours will be Friday, December 4, 2015 from 9 - 10 AM with a Service at 10 AM at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street in Manchester. Burial with military honors will be in the Hillstown Road Veteran's Cemetery in Manchester.
