Shawn Phillip Lennon

Shawn P. Lennon, 35, of Manchester, loving son of Anne Kiriluk Lennon of Manchester died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Shawn was born on August 19, 1981 in Manchester. He attended local schools, was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 2000 and earned his Associate degree in Business Administration from Manchester Community College. During his school years Shawn was a member of the Cub and Boy Scouts of America Troop #47 in Manchester. He enjoyed fishing, hiking and playing softball, and loved watching pro wrestling and the New York Yankees. Shawn had formerly been employed with Highland Park Market in Manchester for several years. In addition to his mother, Anne, he is survived by his sister Carter Lennon and her husband Dan Gerwien of Glastonbury and his beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Posada. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St in Manchester on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 4-7 pm with a service at 7 pm at the funeral home. Graveside services and burial will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:00 am in East Cemetery, 240 East Center St. in Manchester.
