Sharon Elizabeth Vibberts
July 9, 1942 — May 31, 2014
Sharon E. Vibberts, age 71, of Suffield, formerly of Manchester, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Hartford Hospital after a short illness.
Sharon was born in Manchester on July 9, 1942, daughter of Clarence W. Vibberts of Manchester and the late Clarrisa (MacDonald) Vibberts. She was raised in Manchester and had been a resident of Suffield for over thirty years. She was very artistic, enjoyed knitting and free-hand needlepoint, and had worked at the Suffield Senior Center.
With her father, Sharon in survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Lucille Vibberts of Portland, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she was also pre-deceased by a brother, Ross Vibberts. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to her special friend and nurse, Julie, for all her years of love and support during Sharon's difficult times.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 4, at 11:00 AM in the East Cemetery, (Sec. 16A Harrison Street) in Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT. Institute for the Blind, 120 Holcomb St., Hartford, CT 06112.
