Sharon G Nason, 82, of Bolton, CT recently residing in Columbia CT, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. Born March 26, 1943, in Houlton Maine.
She moved from Maine to Connecticut in 1976 where she was employed by the State of Connecticut at Mansfield training school. Where she retired after 35+ years. She then continued to care for two women in her home. Gail Patrick and Paulette Turgeon became a big part of her life. She loved traveling, gardening camping and being with her family and celebrating every milestone. Family was everything to her.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Nason, her loving parents, Henry and Edna Miller, her two sisters, Sylvia Daigle, and Josephine Ward, and two brothers, Henry Miller Jr and Dale Miller.
She lives on in spirit through her three children Barbara (Nason) Ward (Rich) of Columbia CT, Darcie (Nason) Bertone (Eric) Of Preston CT and Shane Nason of Storrs/ Mansfield CT, and through her grandchildren, Christopher Ward (Jamie) Of Coventry CT, Darcie Ward(Orlando Martinez) Of Andover CT, Sierra Dockum (Katie) Of Manchester, CT, Nicholas Dockum of East Hampton CT, and
13 great-grandchildren, Christopher Jr, Luke, Marlena, Gregory, Olyvia, Caroline, Orlando Jr, Jessie, Jalyse, Kaylani Jayden, Jayce and Avaya. Her sister, Joan Faulkner of Tolland CT, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, located at 400 Main St., Manchester CT, on Saturday, July 12th from 9am till 10:30am with a Funeral service to follow from 10:30am till 11 followed by burial at Center Cemetery Road Cemetery in Bolton CT.
We thank you mom for everything you were and all that you gave, and may you now forever rest in peace with the certain knowledge that you were, are and will always be, dearly loved and terribly missed farewell.
