Sara A. Teets

Sara A. (Phillips) Teets, 89, of North Conway, NH, formerly of Manchester, CT, beloved wife of the late Pierre E. Teets Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Merriman House in North Conway, New Hampshire. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Columbus, OH daughter of the late Alvin and Mary (Breedlove) Phillips and had been a resident of Manchester, Ct. for over 60 years until moving to New Hampshire in 2008. She was a veteran of WW.II. serving her country in the Army Air Force. Sara was an avid golfer and former member of the Manchester Country Club. She enjoyed reading, crafting and playing Bridge. She also enjoyed helping her husband with woodworking projects by completing the painting and finishing work. Sara is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and William Regan of Jackson, NH and Susan and Jeffrey Desch of Peru, IN, and her daughter-in-law, Robin Teets of Vernon, CT. She also leaves her four beloved grandchildren, Sarah Peri of Attleboro, MA, Kevin Teets of Vernon , Ct. Breahn Neyers and her husband, Jason of Tolland, Ct. and Joshua Desch of Peru, IN, five great-grandchildren; Kadence, Parker, Camden, Paxton and Kaelyn and her extended family Kathleen and Chris Yeaton and their children Katie and Chase of Newtown, CT and Alexis Regan of Concord, NH. In addition to her husband and parents Sara was predeceased by her son, Robert E. Teets and seven siblings. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 10-10:30 am at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester with a service to begin at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
