Sandra Jane Mccurry

Sandra Jane McCurry, 54, of Manchester passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 at her sister's home in Ellington after a six year battle with cancer. Sandy was born on August 17, 1962 in Manchester loving daughter of Samuel and Nancy (Walsh) McCurry of Manchester. She was employed for over ten years as a Customer Service Representative at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford. Sandy had a loving heart for animals, especially her beloved Yorkshire Terrier Gracie. She was a huge bargain shopper and always enjoyed sharing what she found with family members. In addition to her parents, Sandy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Lori and Clifford Schoffer and their children; Daniel, Anna and Nate all of Ellington, her brother and sister-in-law Myles and Marguerite McCurry of Vernon and their children; Lindsey McCurry of Concord, NH and Courtney McCurry of Vernon. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 5-8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11 am at Center Congregational Church, 11 Center St. Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA.
