Ryan Steele Towle, 28, of Manchester, CT, beloved son of David and Sally Towle, died peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Bristol Hospital. He had suffered from complications of having Addison's disease. Ryan was born on September 7, 1988 in Manchester and had been a lifelong resident. He enjoyed playing Midget Football for the Manchester Rec and continued playing football for the Manchester High School team. He was also part of the wrestling team and member of the MHS band. Although Ryan didn't get to graduate with his class (due to being sick often), he was determined to get his GED. He spent many evenings going to night school and received his diploma while at the hospital, in 2009. He was formerly employed with the Amerbelle Textile Corporation, in Rockville. He also volunteered with the Manchester Area Network on AIDS (MANA). Ryan aspired to be a Pharmacist before being stricken by his illness.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Robin and David Fecso of Simsbury, his brother Derek Towle and his fianc Jessie Foster of Columbia, a nephew Nathanael Fecso of Simsbury and many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, their families and close friends. The family of Ryan would also like to extend a personal thank you to all the doctors, nurses and medical staff that treated him at the Village Green of Bristol and Bristol Hospital. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2-6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11 am at Trinity Covenant Church, 302 Hackmatack St. in Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation.
