Ruth E. Evelhoch

Ruth E. (Crockett) Evelhoch, 92, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Ray E. Evelhoch died peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2016 in Manchester. She was born on April 18, 1923 in Augusta, ME daughter of the late Howard and Alma (Pelton) Crockett. She was raised in Augusta, attended local schools and was a graduate of Cony High School. Ruth was employed for many years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford retiring as an Executive Secretary. She attended the First Baptist Church in Manchester. She is survived by her three daughters; Stephanie Russell of Hartford, Sandra Lincoln of Lake Worth, FL and Cathy Nichols of Farmington, her grandson, Jeffrey Howson of Virginia and two nieces; Lauren Tracy and her husband, David of South Portland, ME and Sharon Tibbitts and her husband, Earl of New Hampshire and all their families. In addition to her husband and parents Ruth was predeceased by her son, Milton Nichols. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 1:30 pm in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT. There are no calling hours.
