Russell E. Saunders

Russell E. Saunders, 62, of Manchester passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. He was the life partner of Karen Saunders. They shared years of marriage and remained together as partner for over 35 years. Born in Manchester, CT he was the son of Russell D. Saunders and Judith Twible on May 15, 1957. The oldest of six siblings and survived by Debra, Lynn, George, Kelly and Erin. Russ enjoyed his Sundays watching Nascar races and the New England Patriots football. He spent time fishing and hunting in areas all over the state. A member of the TKB Club, he made friends with similar interests in conversation. Russ was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Twible and two brother-in-Laws Ronald Webster Jr. and Tom Neil as well as many friends throughout the years. He is survived by his life partner and love of his life Karen Saunders and his children Steven, Shawn, Shannon and Brett and his stepson Jason. Several cousins, nieces and nephews. As well as eleven grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the TKB Club at 1 Vernon Street, Vernon, CT at 12:00 pm
