Royal Henry Wentworth

Royal Henry Wentworth junior passed away suddenly on February 16, 2021 he was born in Skowhegan, Maine On December 21, 1926 to Royal Henry Wentworth Senior and Mabel Purington Wentworth. He joined the Marines at age 18 and spent a year and a half In China. He married Audrey Louise Lagasse on October 4, 1947 and resided in Skowhegan until moving to Connecticut. He was employed by Pratt and Whitney for over 30 years as a fuel cell tester until retirement in 1985 when they moved back to Maine for 5 years. They then travelled the country for 10 years until moving to Bolton, CT. Royal was predeceased by his sister Harriet Gould. He is survived by his wife Audrey and his children Donna Wabble (Rich), David Wentworth (Bernadette), grandchildren Lisa Bushnell, Travis Meek (Ginny), Breanna Wentworth (Matt), Brian Wentworth (Lizzy) and great grandchildren Brandyn Bushnell, Travis Meek II, Ryker and Caylin Lees and Roman Wentworth. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a service to follow at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT.
