Ronald J. LeBlanc, 68, of Maryville, TN, formerly of Manchester, loving husband of 45 years to Donna (LaChapelle) LeBlanc passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the James H. Quillen Veterans Medical Center in Tennessee. Ron was born on April 27, 1948 in Hartford son of the late Telex and Beatrice (LeClair) LeBlanc. He was a proud veteran of the US. Air Force serving his country in the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement Ron was employed for 30 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford. He was an avid car show enthusiast, and even customized a mini Japanese fire truck. He also loved racing, tools (too many), eBay, and jet engines. In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his son Rich LeBlanc of Manchester, his daughter Jennifer Gillis of Oakdale, his granddaughter Sheyenne Gillis, two brothers; Kenneth LeBlanc and his wife Jeannette of Plainville and Albert LeBlanc and his wife Susan of England, his sister Laure Ann Roy and her husband Norman of Ellington, his sister-in-law Judy LeBlanc of Windsor and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ron was predeceased by his brother Robert LeBlanc. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester from 5-8 pm. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hillstown Road Veterans Cemetery, 180 Hillstown Road, Manchester.
