Robert A. Patulak

Robert A. Patulak, age 67 of Coventry, formerly of Manchester, loving husband for forty-six years of Marie A. (Mesar) Patulak, died Friday, July 4, 2014 at Hartford Hospital.
Bob was born in Hartford on October 8, 1946, son of the late Michael and Stella (Truken) Patulak. He was raised in Manchester and served in the US Air Force. He received his Bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State College and a Master's degree from Framingham University in Massachusetts. Bob worked for the Hamilton Standard Company for many years, and had a second career as a dependant's teacher for the U.S. Department of Defense, spending five years in London and eight years in Italy before returning to settle in Coventry last year. He was a great storyteller, enjoyed coaching tennis and traveling, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
With his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Maria Patulak of Willimantic, their infant daughter Gianna, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Vickie Mesar and their family of Pennsylvania.
