Richard E. Hogaboom, Jr.

Richard E. Hogaboom, Jr. 64, of Manchester, CT passed away peacefully on November 13, 2021, at the West Haven VA Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1957, to the late Richard Hogaboom and surviving Jean (Audette) Hogaboom. Richard served his country proudly in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He worked as a Millwright Mechanic for most of his life, and was a jack-of-all-trades, there wasnt anything he couldnt fix. Richard is predeceased by his wife Linda, father, Richard, and brother Shawn Hogaboom. He is survived by his mother Jean, and two daughters, Erin Hogaboom and her husband Jose Gonzalez, and Danielle Taylor, his stepdaughter Jane Moriarty, his siblings Sam Hogaboom, Linda Todd, Vickie Germain and Jodi Tomasi. Richard also leaves his grandchildren Jaiden and Vanessa Gonzalez, Scott Taylor and Kate and Alexis Jones along with many nieces, nephews and other family and friends who loved him dearly. A Graveside service, with full military honors will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Middletown Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457.
