Phyllis Jean (Geddes) Cox of South Windsor, formerly of Bolton and Manchester, devoted and loved wife of the late Ernest A. Cox, died Thursday May 14, 2015 in Hartford.
She was born in Mansfield, MA, daughter of the late Daniel and Arlene (Howard) Geddes. She graduated from the Oliver Ames High School in North Easton, MA, came to Connecticut in the 1950's, and attended Hartford Secretarial School. She retired from the Travelers Insurance Company after twenty five years of service and she enjoyed watching UConn men's and women's basketball.
Phyllis leaves behind a special and loving daughter, Ann Tarascio and her husband Dan of Vernon, and two grandchildren who she loved dearly, Sean and Morgan Tarascio, also of Vernon. She also leaves her sister, Norma Milka of Manchester, and dear nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Muriel Wolak.
