Paul A. Quey

Paul A. Quey, 71, loving husband of the late Kathleen A. (Solomonson) Quey died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born on January 3, 1945 in Manchester son of the late Joseph Martin Quey and Mary (Lorentina) Quey. Paul was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and was a 1963 graduate of MHS. He was a basketball standout at MHS and he enjoyed playing tennis in his younger years. Paul enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing and he was an avid Setback player. Prior to his retirement he was employed with Allied Printing Services of Manchester for over 13 years as a courier. He is survived by his two daughters; Michelle Quey and her daughter; Mikayla of Manchester and Jennifer Quey of Coventry, several in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sister; Ernestine Mitchell. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
