Paul A. Guest, 59, of Manchester, died peacefully, Friday October 24, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Paul was born August 30, 1955 in Hartford, beloved son of the late Raymond E. Guest Sr. and Dolores L. (Sullivan) Guest and had been a resident of East Hartford for many years before moving to Manchester ten years ago. He had worked in the construction business for over 20 years and was an avid Yankees fan. Paul is survived by three sisters and a brother, Dolores Carlson and her husband David, Mary McAllister and her husband Thomas and Janet Guest and Walter Barnes all of Manchester, Raymond E. Guest Jr. and Marion Castagna of East Hartford. He also leaves two nephews, Joey Guest of East Hampton Brent Carlson of Manchester and a niece Carrie McAllister also of Manchester, a great-niece, Celia Guest of East Hampton, a great-nephew, Tristin Guest of Marlborough and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thank you on behalf of Paul to the following, Frank Ross, Eddy Rudisill, Keith Mylek, David Brockett, Charles Bolling, Joe C. Willis Jr. and Ray Guest Jr. Also, a special thank you to the Visiting Nurses of Vernon. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3 pm at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester. Memorial calling hours will be prior to the service from 1-3 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Samaritan Shelter of Manchester P.O. Box 773 Manchester, CT 06040.
