Patricia (Naretto) Therrien, 63 of Manchester passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 27, 2015. Patricia is survived by her loving son, Jay Therrien, his wife Elisabeth and their daughters Daly, Nora and Charlotte of Longmeadow, MA. Patricia loved nothing more than spending time with her granddaughters, who she cherished more than words can express. She also loved caring for the numerous animals she rescued over the years, and much like the butterflies she adored, she was known to bring sunshine, warmth and color with her everywhere she went. She was born in Hartford, CT on April 24, 1952, daughter of the late John and Jeanne Naretto and was a lifelong Manchester resident graduating from Manchester High School in the Class of 1970. She was presently employed at MetLife in Bloomfield where she made many wonderful friendships over the past 10 years. In addition to her son Jay and his family, she is survived by her sisters Lynn Wells and Marianne Naretto, both of Port Orange, FL along with many nieces, nephews and their families. Also surviving is her former husband, Wayne F. Therrien. Family and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester. Burial will be private. Pat was an avid animal lover and her family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions in her name may be made to, Dakin Humane Society 171 Union Street Springfield, MA 01105.
